About us and working on our team:

Are you looking for an opportunity to grow your experience and be part of a great landscaping team and family? Back Breakers is always looking for and considering new team members to join us in serving customers living around Albuquerque, Rio Rancho, Placitas, East Mountains, as well as further north and south along the Rio Grande. At Back Breakers you’ll find a team dedicated to quality work for our customers. Our work and customer base is steadily growing. In this work family, you’ll find support for your needs and learning even more about the business than you already know. We appreciate our dedicated team members and do whatever we can for them. We work small jobs to large jobs including landscape design, hardscaping (cement, pavers, blocks, walls, etc.), landscaping (planting, laying sod, etc.), repair, and maintenance for private homes and industrial customers. We are often looking for both experienced landscapers and laborers with no experience that are ready to work hard to to learn our skill sets. We will hire full-time and part-time team members. We provide training on the job, safety gear, equipment, and water/beverages on job sites. We also provide transportation from and back to our headquarters. Our pay is based upon experience and commitment to the job. Unskilled laborers typically start at $11/hr. Additional pay is provided to those with skills and experience.

You should show enthusiasm for quality work that maintains Back Breaker’s reputation. You’ll also be very polite to our customers and respectful of your team members and Back Breaker partners. You should also have reliable transportation to each job site or our job yard each morning. All landscaping work is physically demanding - requiring navigating uneven terrain in a construction site, lifting heavy objects, kneeling, expending effort moving soil, rock, and other objects, and working with and around dangerous construction equipment. There will also be environmental exposure to dirt, pollen, working outside in hot, cold, and wet environments.
